Senior Citizens New Year Lunch 2011

New Life Church have done it again!! Once more the Ryefield Centre was abuzz with happy faces enjoying good food. After the huge disappointment of 2010 when January snows meant the cancellation of the annual New Year Lunch for the senior citizens of our town, on Sunday January 23rd New Life Church put on an excellent chicken dinner, followed by apple pie. After the meal the senior citizens were entertained with a sketch about the 3 wise men followed by the Epiphany carol, a short talk based on the carol and concluded with the hymn To God Be the Glory.
New Life Church would once more like to thank the WRVS for the use of their facilities and Gaye from the Rumbling Tum for her assistance.
